I’m thrilled to announce that we’re partnering with the Hopkins-Nanjing Center for Chinese and American Studies’ (HNC) Washington Office – part of Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) – to offer a new HNC Student Ambassador Fellowship. Designed exclusively for US-China Strong’s student ambassadors, the fellowship’s launch coincides with HNC’s 30th anniversary.
This new partnership means that one US-China Strong student ambassador enrolling in HNC will be awarded $10,000 toward one year’s tuition. The inaugural fellowship will be awarded in the fall of 2017. This remarkable opportunity will enable more of our students committed to strengthening US-China relations to fulfill their China study abroad dreams and gain skills and experience for China-related careers.
US-China Strong boasts over 500 student ambassadors to date. These remarkable young people are the future of the US-China relationship and we are thrilled that they will have the opportunity to apply for this prestigious scholarship at what is arguably the most renowned American study abroad program in China.
On behalf of the US-China Strong Foundation, I’m so grateful to HNC for supporting this wonderful opportunity and our Student Ambassador Program. We can’t wait to see what this fellowship will bring and who our first fellow will be (financial aid applications are due in February 2017 – please email firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more).
Thanks, as always, for your support.
